When we create something unique like our dB humbuckers, we often discuss what we learned and apply ideas to other products. Our sB pickups take one side of our dB humbucker and fit the coil into a Jaguar style pickup route as a drop-in replacement. Thick and powerful are the best ways to describe these single coil pickups when compared to the originals. You’ll notice a stronger sustain and bloom to the note’s attack with a more vocal fundamental lower midrange reminiscent of a smooth PAF tone rather than the usual glassy bright and scooped sound of a normal F style single coil pickup.

Recommended Capacitor: 0.047µF
Recommended Potentiometers: 250k or 1meg. 1meg is the original standard and it delivers a brighter tone. However, booth work well. It is only a matter of taste.
