The Guild x Lollar HB-1s are our take on the classic vintage humbucker that Guild has used in models from Starfires to S-100s and more. These are the pickups Lollar recreated in collaboration with Guild and Kim Thayil to be used in the Guild USA Artist Edition S-100 Polara Kim Thayil Limited signature model. These replicas are perfect fits for modifying or upgrading the import version of Kim’s signature instrument, along with many other Guild guitars that include import versions of the HB-1 pickups. Please note that the HB-1 is a uniquely sized pickup that has a different footprint than a PAF-style humbucker, so installing them in guitars not designed for HB-1s will require modification and routing.


These pickups are available in limited quantities in nickel or gold with 4-conductor leads.
